Barred Owl - "Annie"

Was found by a lady near Goddard 3 years ago at the bottom of a tree. Took her home and fed her for a few weeks before calling Wildlife & Parks. She was severely dehydrated and not responding when the lady called. Our Conservation Officer called while we were doing a program at the Kansas Newman Renaissance Faire. had to care for her at the Faire. Severely imprinted and sees me as her mate. Very aggressive towards Strangers. Very Vocal during group tours! Barred Owls like heavy Forest area's near water. Their call sounds like "Who cooks for you" Who cooks for you"
