Our new seating area for seniors is complete! Along with our new sidewalk, our new seating area with the new pergola roof is now ready for our senior citizens and other guests that need assistance with walking, a place to sit down in a shaded area and rest, or a place to sit while EVRC presents a program.. We also have built a new platform for our two Bald Eagles Cessna and WaSu to begin building nest. This was decided after watching WaSu offer Cessna sticks a form of courtship with Bald Eagles. Our purpose in this is not to have them breed and have babies, but for enrichment so they can practice doing what they would do naturally at this stage of their lives. We would have to have a special permit from the US Fish & Wildlife Service to let them breed and have babies. We also just had an Eagle Scout from Haysville build new benches in front of the Pavilion. These will offer our senior guests a place to sit while getting ready to load or unload their vans or buses, or while waiting to get their walkers or wheelchairs.  Coming soon will be a new resident at EVRC, and it comes from Africa! Check back soon for an update and see WHO is coming.
