We are releasing babies, and we are close to the funds needed to build our sidewalk! After a record 33 baby Screech Owls, Great Horned Owls, Barred Owls and Kestrels that we took in this spring, we are down to our last 4 babies and they are almost ready to release! Annie our resident Barred Owl has been raising the 3rd of 3 orphaned baby Barred Owls this year and she has become a great momma! We now have just 2 Screech Owls, 1 Barred Owl and 1 Great Horned Owl that are within a few weeks of being released.  We also are within $1,400.00 of the needed funds to build our 320 foot sidewalk so people in wheelchairs, or need assistance walking will be able to see the birds with having to struggle going through pea gravel and grass. We are hoping to start construction in July. So anyone that would like to donate, we will appreciate any donation towards this much need project. As always Thanks everyone for letting me share our stories here at Eagle Valley and most of all for your support!
