Christmas Time is Here! Eagle Valley Raptor Center is gearing up for the winter months. One of our main issues we need to deal with here at the center, is to make sure we have plenty of food to feed not only the injured and orphaned birds we take in, but our educational birds as well. With the Tour Season at an end, we are always trying to find ways to raise funds so that we always have a fresh supply of food for the birds. During the winter time, we feed the birds about a 1/3 extra than they would eat during warmer weather. Long time Voluteer Rachel Bournival spent many hours putting together our first annual Christmas Ornaments. Each ornament is a picture of one of our Educational Birds. Each ornament is $3.00 apiece, or 4 for $10.00. All proceeds go directly to the winter food supply of rats, mice and quail for our birds.
