2007 is coming to a close at Eagle Valley. What a year it has been! We have had many ups and downs. Most recently we had to put down our most beloved bird, "Miles" the Barn Owl. He had been suffering from the effects of West Nile Disease and his quality of life was getting worse. He had touched many lives and was loved by many. We have added a new member to our Feathered Family, "Chewy" the Peregrine Falcon. We are having our first "INDIAN STORY TELLING HOUR" at EVRC on December the 1st. We will be blessing our eagles and then going down to the campsite and listen to several stories from the Apache, Sioux and Cherokee Nations by campfire. We had our first carshow and tour this month with the PT Cruiser Club coming out for a tour and show. We also were honored to have several members of the Patriot Guard coming out to see our Eagles. We also sucessfully released the 4 baby Barns Owls that we received from Montezuma, Kansas back in September. Well we hope everyone has a great Holiday Season, and keep us in your thoughts during the winter months! Take care, Ken
